Clean, tidy and handy to central Sydney and rail station
very small room, and no seating
The location was perfect to visit the main important site in Sydney by walking. The room was comfortable for the rate we paied.
The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet and is right on the edge of George St and Pitt St and easily accessable to the city.
I was on a floor where there was a generator that was noisy but thankfully did not keep me awake at night. I got cold during the night so had a fitful night sleep as there are only extra pillows kept in the room. I understood what the manager said about having to wash them after each guest but I had a very busy day at work and was in need of a good night's sleep. Otherwise a very good place to stay and would definitely stay again.
Location, central to Sydney's Central Station, Darling Harbor, University of Sydney.
Lack of laundry facilities in the rooms - shared laundry on ground floor - 1 iron, 1 tumble drier, 1 washing machine.
service was good and the room was comfortable and nice bathroom
no fox sports - cards didnt work initially - heating /aircon didnt seem to work or be altered - entry was confusing - $2 charge per bag unnessary
We liked that our room was minimal in relation to the furniture as we have a baby girl who is just starting to walk so falls over constantly. This meant that she wasn't likely to injure herself. The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel is central to locations such as Broadway Shopping Centre and Station so very convenient.
A microwave would be handy to have in the room.
A welcome rest after a grueling flight from London to Sydney via Dubai, before proceeding on a further long journey to the country.
Central to everywhere I needed to be in Sydney, very relaxing good quality.
Ther could be a exit for easy access so you can get to Mecure for parking.
It was a good location and a good value for a family budget. I felt the place was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay in your hotel.
Poor tv reception. No iron or ironing board in room. Toilet to close to wall in the bathroom. No breakfast ,dining or room service for food.
Happy staff and other guests that I met, quiet room with great facilities.
Not having been to Sydney before I was wanting accommodation convenient to train station. I found the hotel's location met all the criteria i required [location, price, easy to find, quiet] and would recommend the Hotel to anyone requiring an overnight stay for the reasons i have given. Reception staff friendly and helpful.
Only one lift available, was quite congested at times. Reception area was small and when i checked in there was quite a few people waiting, not much room.
We (Family of mum, 2 adult children, 15 year old and 2 year old) were returning from an overseas holiday and needed somewhere to stay near Central Station so we could catch the 6.15am train in the morning. We stayed in a family room at the Leisure Inn. The room and bathroom were huge! The kids loved the soap/shampoo dispensers in the shower and near the basin. The room slept 5 people comfortably and there was penty of room to spread out. As we were only staying one night, we didn't worry about storage, but there was plenty of cupboard/drawer space in the room and bathroom if we needed it. There was a great choice of places nearby to get dinner, and a couple of convenience stores. We were easily able to walk to Central with all our luggage. The room was clean and quiet. We all had a great sleep.
We had to have $50 charged in limbo on our credit card 'in case we used the bottle of water' or something. I accepted this, as it was made clear at the time of booking, but, as I've never had to do this at any hotel ever before, it did make me feel a little worried about what kind of people stay at the Leisure Inn. As I was taking my family, I was really worried about their safety. Thankfully the hotel was a pleasant surprise and everyone there was lovely, but I think this practice brings down the tone of the hotel. Don't be put off by that, because we were really happy there. The Internet was a reasonable price but the reception in our room was a bit unreliable.
The staff were accommodating.
The room we were allocated on arrival was terrible! We had to pay an extra $40 to 'upgrade' to a better room. The air conditioning was operated by the hotel and the room we were in first just had no air!
Very convenient and clean helpful staff
